FATHER IAIN STANFORD
Father Iain joined St. Peter’s in July 2020. His road to priesthood came through a journey with several twists and turns along the way. As an undergraduate, he studied Industrial Engineering at Oregon State before becoming a consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. He fell in love with theology and ministry, and received a Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame, and a Theological Masters from Harvard Divinity School. During his doctoral work at Harvard, he joined The Episcopal Church. After completing a Certificate of Anglican Studies at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, he was ordained to the Deaconate in 2016, and to the priesthood the following year. He served as an associate for liturgy at Grace Cathedral, and then as associate rector at Christ Church, Lake Oswego before being called to St. Peter’s.
