At St. Peter’s, children and youth are a top priority, and we offer several programs for kids of all ages.

Children & Youth

Sundays at 10:30. There’s something for every kid on every Sunday of the month!

  • Nursery
  • Family Service
  • Godly Play

Every Sunday from 8:45am to 12 noon. Nursery care is provided for little ones by two paid nursery attendants and parent volunteers.

1st Sunday of the month. Designed with children in mind, with kids participating and a children’s homily. Ideal for families with small children who wish to worship together.

2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month. An innovative Sunday School program based on the Montessori learning method that meets during the 10:30 service. Children and their Godly Play Storytellers rejoin the congregation for Eucharist.

Tots, Toddlers, Tweens, and Teens!

We work hard to keep young people engaged, with a special focus on community service for kids of all ages.  We’ve filled and given away backpacks to local schoolchildren in need, put together Hope Bags for the homeless, and in recent years have taken our teens on two summer mission trips to the Navajo Nation in Crownpoint, New Mexico. And parish youth are welcome in all of our outreach programs, not just the programs designed for kids.  Check out some of our activities for young people below…
