Families

St. Peter’s is a family-friendly church that seeks to support parents and provide enriching spiritual formation for children. On the first Sunday of the month, the 10 a.m. service focuses on including whole families in worship with great hymns and a children’s sermon. At every service, children are welcome to receive communion.

Also, we have a variety of events for the whole family to enjoy.

The Episcopal Church is often called a “bridge church” for you will find many couples where one was raised Protestant and the other was raised Roman Catholic or Orthodox. The Episcopal Church is a bridge between these two traditions. Here you will find “honest to Gospel preaching” and a beautiful worship service that values the sacramental nature of our worship. The best of both traditions flows together in our public worship and our parish events. Catholics will certainly be familiar with our creeds and the celebration of the Eucharist most Sundays. Protestants will respect the faithful and scholarly preaching week by week.
