Our church is located across the street from Sequoia High School and a short walk from the corner of Broadway and El Camino Real in Redwood City, California. Our parishioners come from all parts of Redwood City, San Carlos, Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside, and from more than 10 surrounding towns. We come from a diverse background of cultures, including Northern European, Latino, South-Pacific Islander, African-American, Asian as well as others.   We are married and partnered, with and without children, and single with pets. But however we define our immediate family, we are all part of the St. Peter's family--called together by God's love and bound together in service to our community in Christ's name.

I came to St. Peter's in June of 1999 to serve as Rector. In the years since then we at St. Peter's have had both successes to celebrate and challenges to overcome. But one truth has remained constant throughout--this is a congregation filled with joy that wants to share its blessings with others. It is also a congregation that wants to serve God by the way we live every day of the week in the real world.
